Seymour Duncan Coming to Museum of Making Music


Santa Barbara-based electric guitar and bass pickup manufacturer, Seymour Duncan, will be at the Museum of Making Music on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 7 PM as part of the Museum's Meet the Music Maker program and display launch.

Duncan will be available to meet and greet visitors during the intimate launch of the display highlighting his life from his early roots as a budding young guitarist & repairman-to-the-stars to his ongoing 25-year career manufacturing guitar pickups. The display also includes the record-breaking World's Largest Guitar Pickup that was commissioned for the Discovery Channel's BIG! television series and rare pickup-related artifacts. The evening will also feature a jam session with Duncan and friends.

Tickets are $15 for the public and $10 for museum members and are available at the Museum or by advance phone reservation at 760-438-5996 x170. Space is limited.
