Parker Guitars today announced the new PM-10 and PM-20 guitars for
the summer session of NAMM in Nashville. Designed by Parker engineers, the
P-Series guitars offer a classic look, with the progressive technology for
which Parker is known at an affordable price. The PM-10 and PM-20 guitar is
the first new shape for Parker since the Parker Fly, introduced 11 years ago.
Parker engineering brings the PM-20, a classic design with a mahogany body
and mahogany set neck. Coil-tapping is a standard feature on this guitar for
single coil tones. The PM-20 features a string thru body design, adding to
the overall tonal qualities of the guitar. The PM-20 is available in quilted
Bubinga -- natural, or flame maple traditional sunburst and has a manufacturer
retail price of $899.00.
The lower priced PM-10 shares the single cut-away design with the PM-20. It
features a mahogany body and mahogany set neck and is equipped with custom
wound Parker Stinger humbuckers. Coil-tapping is a standard feature on this
guitar for single-coil tones. The PM-10 has a traditional stop-tail bridge
design. It is available in black or natural and has a manufacturer retail price
of $799.00.
