Based on the circuitry of the VMP-2000e and VMP-4000e, the new VMP-1000e features extended headroom and bandwidth. The VMP-1000e is a preamplifier designed to work well with modern digital recording systems and their demanding standards for bandwidth and detail, while lending a classic tone that is often missing in purely digital systems.

The tone can range from transparent through to deeply coloured, depending on how hard you drive the valve with the input Pad. The Deep switch lays concrete into the foundations of your sound, enhancing the lower frequencies, giving the VMP-1000e a solid bottom end, while the higher frequencies can be opened up with the two way Air/Bright switch.

Featuring eveything you would expect from a preamplifier such as a Phase switch, Low Cut, 48V Phantom Power, multiple outputs for zero latency montioring and an optional VU Metered version, the VMP-1000e is also built into a solid steel case with an aluminium front panel for strength and shielding. The valves are run at a proper high tension voltage and the circuitry is all discrete ClassA from the input transformer to the output stage.

Price for the VMP-1000e is $849, or $949 with the VU meter.
