Kona Guitars announced a new collection of double cutaway electric guitars.

The Kona KES1 series guitars feature double cutaway, enclosed machine heads, a rosewood fretboard, tremolo and 3 single coil pickups. The KES1 is available in transparent red gloss finish, solid navy blue finish and a solid black gloss finish. The KES1 is also available in a special edition Player Pack that includes the KES1 in transparent red or black, gig bag, guitar strap, digital tuner, 15 watt amplifier, 10' guitar cable, 6 guitar picks, polishing cloth, and an electric guitar instructional video, all packaged in a colorful gift box.

Also included in the double cutaway guitars is the Kona KES2 series. These guitars provide double cutaway, 2 single coils and 1 humbucker, enclosed machine heads, a rosewood fretboard, tremolo and a pearloid pick guard. The KES2 is available in a transparent red finish or a transparent blue finish.

The KESSTBS offers all the features of the KES2 series guitar, along with a quilted top double cutaway and a tobacco sunburst finish.

Rounding out the double cutaways is the KEJBN, Kona's Double Cutaway Jazz Style Electric Bass. This bass guitar features double cutaway, single coil pickup, enclosed and die-cast machine heads, a rosewood fretboard, and a natural finish.
