AXL amplifiers has unveiled the ThinAmp, a full-featured portable
DSP (digital signal processing) guitar amplifier capable of cranking out
10W of sound anywhere, anytime. The ThinAmp's space-saving design at 5.3lbs
and 2 inches thick makes it comparable in size to many laptops computers.

As a portable electronic device, the ThinAmp is capable of delivering sound
from a variety of sources. Equipped with auxiliary inputs and outputs located
conveniently on the amp's front panel, the ThinAmp can be used as a speaker
system for audio devices such as MP3 and CD players. Plug in your turntable
for an impromptu DJ set. Carry it along to your local open mic event and use
the effects you're accustomed to. The ThinAmp's size and setup makes it a perfect
audio carry-all.

The AXL ThinAmp is built with a custom injection-molded exterior and a metal
grille for a minimal look. Push buttons on the sides of the ThinAmp easily
extend its legs for secure positioning on flat surfaces.
